Elle Decor Modern Life Concept House

Continuing with the tour of Blogfest, we were able to visit the Elle Decor Modern Life Concept House.  They have partnered with Housing Works to continue the support of their mission of ending homelessness and AIDS. This New York condo features 10 designers who transform these spaces in creative ways for big city living.

Yes, NY was fab, but it was also a lot of work lugging around a big camera and getting the perfect shot (move it people!)

This master bedroom (below) was transformed by Marie Turner. I was able to meet her in person, and her outfit was as lovely as her space.

Aren’t the candle sconces gorgeous!

And who couldn’t use a little greenery in The Big Apple?

Baton Rouge 2011 Hospice Showhome

Hospice of Baton Rouge celebrates its 11th Decorators Show Home from April 28 – May 15, 2011. This event is Hospice’s signature fundraiser in which a local home is transformed by Baton Rouge Interior Designers and Landscapers into a fantasy showcase for the community to enjoy. Click here for a list of participating designers. All proceeds are designated to the Patient Care Fund of The Hospice of Baton Rouge. The primary purpose of the Patient Care Fund is to ensure that anyone needing hospice care will receive it regardless of the financial resources.
